The file you need is the Performance report from Tradovate Account Reports, downloaded as CSV: completed paired trades for one account.
Export from Tradovate
Step 1. Log in at trader.tradovate.com.
Step 2. Open Account Reports: click your account name at the top right and choose it, or use the gear icon beside the account on the Accounts tab, or the Reports icon in the side toolbar.
Step 3. Open the Performance tab. That is the one with completed paired trades and their P&L.
Step 4. Check that the correct account is selected. One export covers one account.
Step 5. Set the date range with the preset chips or the From and To fields.
Step 6. Click Go. The report does not refresh without it.
Step 7. Click Download CSV. The button sometimes reads Download Report; choose CSV, not PDF.
Import into Propfy
Step 1. Open the Import page in Propfy and pick the Tradovate card.
Step 2. Choose which account these trades belong to. Optional, but one export is one account.
Step 3. Drop the CSV on the upload box, or click to browse. Maximum 4MB and 10,000 rows.
Step 4. Read the preview, then click Import trades.
Troubleshooting
Rows skipped for an unreadable trade direction: this export has no Side column. Propfy reads direction from which leg filled first, so bought before sold is a long and sold before bought is a short. A row whose timestamps are missing, identical, or no longer real dates has no direction signal and is skipped rather than guessed. Re-saving the file in a spreadsheet is the usual cause.
Fees are blank after import: P&L here is gross. Commissions and fees live in the separate Cash History export, so Propfy leaves fees unknown instead of writing a false zero.
Losses written as $(160.00): the parentheses form reads as a negative. Leave it exactly as exported.
Times look wrong: this report carries no timezone. Tradovate writes the times in whatever timezone your platform displays, usually your own local time and never UTC. Pick that timezone in the selector on the import screen before you import, rather than editing the file.
An empty report: you changed the date range but did not click Go.
Columns Propfy reads
symbol, qty, buyPrice, sellPrice, pnl, boughtTimestamp, soldTimestamp. buyFillId, sellFillId, duration and the _priceFormat columns are ignored. On a short, boughtTimestamp is the later of the two because the buy leg is the close, so Propfy maps the sell leg as the entry. Partial fills arrive already paired, so one row is one trade.
