Your journal: trades, sessions, calendar and notebook
Updated September 6, 2026
The Journal has four tabs. They are four views of one set of trades, not four places your data lives, so nothing you do in one of them has to be repeated in another.
Trades
The ledger. One row per fill, exactly as your broker reported it, with entry, exit, size, session and account. This is the page to reconcile against a broker statement, because it is the only surface that does not group mirrored fills into decisions.
Opening a row opens that trade's drawer, where its review and notes live.
Sessions
One day at a time, reviewed as a whole: what the money did through the day, which decisions made it, how they were graded, which of your rules survived, and how close the daily loss limit came. Your written session review lives here.
This is the tab to use after the close. A day is the unit you actually review.
Calendar
The month grid. Each cell is a trading day coloured by its result, so a run of red days or a limit hit is visible without reading anything. Clicking a day takes you into that day's trades.
Notebook
One searchable list of everything you have written, both kinds together: session reviews from the Sessions tab and trade notes from the Trades drawer. It stores nothing new. It indexes what you already wrote, so a lesson from three weeks ago is findable without remembering which day or which trade it was attached to.
Search runs in the database over the window you have selected, not over the page in front of you.
The scope controls apply to all four
The date pills and the phase and account selectors in the header narrow every tab. If a tab looks emptier than you expect, check the window before checking your data.
The row count in the ledger footer
The Trades tab renders up to 5,000 rows and says so when your scope holds more, for example "showing first 5,000 of 7,812". It is a display ceiling on that one page, nothing else. No trade is deleted, hidden, or left out of your statistics, and the totals in the header are computed over the whole scope rather than over the rows on screen.
If you see that message, narrow the date range or filter by account.
