Setting up Telegram alerts

Telegram is how Propfy reaches you when you are not looking at the app. Connecting takes one click and no chat ID.

Connect

1. Open Settings, then Notifications. 2. Press Connect Telegram. Propfy opens a link that starts a chat with the bot. 3. Send the message Telegram has already filled in for you. That is the whole pairing step.

The link carries a one-time token that is valid for ten minutes and is never stored in readable form. If you leave it too long, press Connect Telegram again and a fresh one is issued.

Once paired, the card reads "Telegram notifications are active". The switch beside it pauses and resumes delivery without unpairing, and the save is confirmed against the database rather than assumed, so if it fails the switch goes back where you found it and tells you.

What arrives

  • A post-trade summary after a trade lands: what you took, where the day stands in decisions and net P&L, and which of your own rules are near or past their limit. Copy-traded mirrors count as one decision, so six accounts still means one message. This has its own switch under Post-trade summaries and needs Telegram connected first.
  • A drawdown warning naming the account, the percentage of its daily loss limit used, and the dollars used against the limit.
  • A rule break notice after the end-of-session review, listing which rules were broken and your adherence figure.
  • Coach messages: the review the coach writes after the session, with the headline and the next step.
  • A weekly recap: trades, win rate, net P&L, best instrument and your current streak.

Every one of them carries a link straight to the page in Propfy that shows the detail.

Nothing arrives while you are disconnected

Delivery requires both a paired chat and the switch on. With either missing, Propfy sends nothing rather than queuing it, so turning the switch back on does not produce a backlog.

Unlink

Press Disconnect on the same card. Pairing is removed and messages stop. You can reconnect later and it is the same one-click flow.

WhatsApp

The Notifications tab shows a WhatsApp card marked "Coming soon". It is not live and there is nothing to connect. Telegram is the channel that works today.
